Cycle Ghana 2024 – Day 10 (July 24th)
Ride 5 – Independence Square (26 miles)
We are back in Accra for the final day and ride of the trip. We leave the Accra Hotel in the heart of the city and head to Independence Square. It is in this location that all major independence celebratory events occur in Ghana. We also ride to Ghana University. The Accra campus is beautiful and the training grounds for members of the Gladiators Cycling Club.
We also celebrate the trip at our closing dinner where more donations are made. It has been a blast and I would definitely be back.
